it is dated to 1767. The property was owned
by Baron Pennisi Floristella, aristocrat and landowner
of many properties. Between the 1960s and the 1970s
the property was purchased by Calabretta family,
current owner of the structure.

The ancient origins of the villa are certain,
it is also denoted by the thickness of the walls,
resistant just like they used to be.

and the name of the structure “Il Sentiero degli Ulivi”,
derives from the presence of olive trees,
used as a windbreak to protect lemons.
